The WN1980 display console can connect to other Ecowitt sensors and upload weather data to the cloud via Wi-Fi configuration, similar to the GW1100 and GW2000.
• Easy Installation: Simply mount the weather station on a mounting pole and base, then check the unit stability. Firm installation stability is essential to ensure sensor accuracy and reliable data reporting.
• Simple Wi-Fi Configuration: Two methods are available for Wi-Fi setup. First, download the Ecowitt App, add a new device, select WN1980, and follow the in‑app instructions to complete Wi-Fi pairing. The second method is web-based configuration via the official website. Select “No Login Password”, scan for routers under local network settings, connect to “WN1980X-WIFIXXXX”, enter your router SSID and password, then confirm and finish the Wi-Fi connection.
